Trout are begining to show up along the coast in some large concentrations. They will soon get back to their summer time patterns.  You should look for clear moving water flowing over reefs at the mouths of bayous.  Trout are ranging from 12 - 22 inches in length.

  Bull reds are on fire right now and will probably be good fishing through May.  They are currently holding to the passes between barrier islands along the beach.  They can be caught best with cracked crab or pogey.  On windy days find a hole with around 30 feet of water and fish the edges of it.  You shouldn't have any problems getting those bulls to bite.

Rat reds are everywhere in the marsh.  Fish spoons or crank baits along grass beds for the best bite.
